Why did musk go after USAID

One of Musk's first moves as DOGE chief has been to#dismantle USAID, convincing the Trump administration that the agency is a waste of federal spending and not fit for purpose.

This raises a potential conflict of interest, as Musk's company was under investigation by USAID shortly before he began calling for the shutdown. Starlink's activity in Eastern Europe has been criticized, with many Russian operatives#claiming to have access to Starlink#despite Musk's assurances that only Ukraine was using the service.

I think a lot of these Nazi sympathizers feel that unless there's video of someone loading Jews into a gas chamber they're not actually a Nazi. As already detailed there are a litany of actions that support Nazi ideology by Elon himself, his signal boosting of white supremacist and Nazi accounts, and the physical actions you can see with you own two eyes are not evidence enough for them. They'll cry about a witch-hunt as has been the recent tradition and you'll be left trying to use reason on someone who's unreasonable.

If they're not willing to let evidence inform their opinion you can't be surprised when reason and logic also fail them. This is how they weasel into popular thought and society, trying to create shades of grey to make their abhorrent views more palatable to a wider audience. Sad to see someone fall into that trap.

What evidence would you need to see, because it's probably out there. What's the thing that would make you go "ok, ya, he's a nazi"? I am actually curious, because I personally struggle to see how it people can't recognize that, but maybe my "ya, he's a nazi" bar is lower than most? I dunno, you tell me.

I honestly can't see a Tesla on the road now and not think that the person driving it is a fascist ######. I know that probably isn't fair to a lot of people who bought in before Musk got involved with politics and Twitter, but the brand is completely ruined for me.
