Too often trying to do something on their own or trying to force something that just isn’t there. The Avs have enough talent to be patient.

No, Wolf stopped standing on his head and stealing games we should have lost.

Without Wolf, we are bottom 5.

Somebody should tell the fellas that they haven’t clinched a playoff spot yet.

This team is not a playoff team. Ride out the season and restart next year and hope someone, anyone, in the organization can be a star other than Wolf.
All they have to do is be better than Utah or Vancouver. That's not impossible at all.

Happened so fast but did the Avs player drop the broken stick to grab a new one, then pick it back up when the puck came back around? That's even worse.

The team couldn't afford injuries and Bahl and Zary being gone hurt them.

Plus 9 games in 15 nights is tough for a team that can't rely on skill to get them through a game.

It's funny though - can't blame reffing but this game could easily be 1:1 if they blow the whistle when Wolf had the puck covered and they blow the play when a Av uses a broken stick.

I think that one's done. We will be 3 back of them and they have 3 games in hand.

Honestly the break comes at a great time. Also be some practice time when they come back too.

There’s definitely some frustration creeping in. Saw it last game and this game. Guys are barking at each other more.

Demko is starting to play better though. Can’t assume they can back into the playoffs.

Kadri and Huberdeau only ones really looking like the GAS, but they’re worn down.

Everyone else is having trouble making a pass or handling one, at best. Some are MIA.
Any pressure and they start turning the puck over.

Who would they play? Winnipeg, Dallas, Edmonton or Las Vegas with zero pressure. Those teams have to win.

Would probably be a 2-1, 3-2 series one way or the other and then who knows what would happen in a couple games.

By winning 5 of your last 10 games? The same as the teams behind you.
