As much as you will something to happen, sometimes reality hits you in the face. I think tonight's game is going to be a punch be right in the face.

This D versus MacKinnon is going to struggle.

Rooney & Lomberg in the lneup again....

Hope they don't get scored on or get caved in again. That's literally all you can reasonably ask of those two. Ugh.

TBH this is a Conroy mistake.

One of the dmen should have been up practicing with the team the second Bahl was hurt.

Rooney potentially being back in the lineup on the other hand....why.

Coming off a loss against a top team at home is the kind of game the Flames step up and surprise in. Going with a 3-2 win for the Flames.

Don't the Wranglers try to employ the same/a similar system to help with the transition so that players aren't lost when they're called up?

By all accounts, a great locker room guy. But Lomberg accomplishes nothing on the ice.

They've been a pretty hard working, consistent bunch all season.

So not much mystery to me.

Guessing they got caught up in the Leaf fan onslaught and forced things on Tuesday.

Instead of letting the Canucks dump Carson Soucy on us they should inquire about the cost of bringing Kylington back, he's clearly not working out there. Just 1 year so no harm done if he doesn't work out

I like that idea. But I also have a soft spot for Kylington and I'm cheering for him to succeed in the NHL.

Yes, he does. Energy and someone who will stand up for his teammates.

Look at what is going on in Buffalo.

Having a player that will always stand up for his team-mates is HUGE - way more valuable than most fans realize. And the Flames are not a particularly big, or tough group. They need a guy like him more than some teams do.

Watching the Flyers Caps game neither Kuzmenko nor Pelletier are in the Flyers lineup and had read they were stuck in Calgary waiting for their US working visas. I’m happy we’ve had Farabee & Frost, even if the results have been mixed they are being acclimated.
Edit:they just showed both eating popcorn in the team box with management, will play next game.

Disagree. He picks his fights well and has definitely given his team momentum standing up for his teammates.

I should never underestimate how poorly this coach makes his lineups. I should know better.
