This seems like a pretty balanced forward lineup if we do get him:

Zary - Cozens - Coronato
Huby - Kadri - Farabee
Sharangovich - Frost - Klapka/Pospisil
Coleman - Backlund - Pospisil/Klapka

I don't really see any weakness there, so minutes could be a bit more even/rolling lines, and there are kids coming or already here that will pressure Kadri, Coleman and Backs.

This is crazy, and probably too much to expect from kids:

This year:
Bahl - Anderson
Kuznetzov - Weegar
Solo - Pachal
Hanley

Next year:
Bahl - Anderson
Weegar - Parekh
Solo/Kuznetzov - Pachal
Solo/Kuznetzov

Time to try Poirier and Solovyov.

I'm not trolling either, happens in every professional sports league. Combine that with a large number of easterners that moved here for work.
Sorry gotta chime in here. Leaf fans are a lot of things...but bandwagoners?!? This team consistently loses in the first round. We all wish we could get on another wagon but we're loyal to a fault.

After the Nucks shut out the Avs, we’re going to see an angry Colorado team on Thursday.

They need a better option than Rooney as well. I sure hope Backlund heals over the break because he is looking very timid out there.

The team looked tired after the busy schedule with travel. I wonder if they will practice or rest tomorrow.
Bean has been an excellent pairing for Weegar since they made that move.

I'd give him more rope and see if he's close to finding that 1st rounder mojo.

Weegar is a stud, but he couldn't drag Miromanov up, lets give Bean more time. They may be uncovering a 4/5 option here.

Is Barrie just that bad or is he injured? He stood out like a sore thumb back there. Responsible for maybe 3 goals against?

No way he can continue playing on the team if they actually want to compete. Bring someone up, anyone.

Not injured. Just slower, older.

I really doubt many born and bred Calgarians have become Leafs fans.

This is the reason. It also includes people whose parents moved here from the east 40 years ago. I’d wager at least 20 per cent of Calgarians have origins in Ontario.

Happy for Farabee!

Hopefully the team doesn't play this loose against the Avs or they might lose by 10

Yeah Bean and Weegar have 64% xGF together and have looked fine as a pair, Bean got too much blame last night for things that were more the fault of the team not playing their structure as a whole.

Bahl - Andersson
Bean - Weegar
???/Hanley - Pachal

Personally I'd love to see one of Solovyov, Kuznetsov, or Poirier get that look beside Pachal on the third pair.

Barrie can either be traded for future considerations or bought out so a team can sign him as playoff depth if they want.

Frost was 57% on faceoffs. No other center was above 50

The Leafs fans take over the building of all the other Canadian teams... and Buffalo's building too.

Really, the Leafs have more home games than any other team when you consider fan support.

The Canadiens fans are similar.

Can Frost kill penalties? Backlund loses too many defensive zone draws on the pk for my liking.

Steinberg mentioned last night that this wasn't something Frost did much of any with Philadelphia

That's what kills the team, the bottom d-men are truly bottom d-men and they start to suffer when they play more, esp. in consecutive games.

Only sell to people you know for those games. Or, just go the game yourself.

Barrie was terrible. And has been terrible since his return, despite the odd point.

Kadri was buzzing all game (maybe showcasing himself?) and Coronato was really good. Huberdeau continues to be a solid player compared to his first couple years here.

I understand more and more why STHs sell their tickets. That atmosphere sucks with all the Leaf fans. I hate it. I doubt I'll go to another Leaf game here.
