I've been angry about what he wants to do to my country, but didn't really consider what he's doing to his own. I guess it puts it in a little bit of perspective.

There were a lot of people, I'm thinking specifically of places like Deerborn, Michigan which has a significant middle eastern muslim population, who were so upset at Biden's treatment of the war in Gaza that they just had to vote for Trump instead. It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so sad.

Well the thing is, it hasn't been two weeks. His first term had all these deplorables crawling out of the woodwork, and since 2020, they've been gleefully telling everyone what they were going to do - and they still won. So they've been prepping this for the past 4 years.

U.S. President Donald Trump said Tuesday he wants his country to take ownership of the Gaza Strip and redevelop it after Palestinians are displaced elsewhere.

"We will own it and be responsible for dismantling all of the dangerous unexploded bombs and other weapons on the site," Trump said at the start of a joint news conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
