A pet rock is more knowledgeable than Oiler fans. See the E=NG threads for more details.

That 2nd goal sequence was crazy. A slash that caused the goal and resulted in a 5 on 3 with another goal. Had to be seen to be believed.

I'm not sure why the announcers were so perplexed...Flames already had a power play and were getting another one before the goal. Only one penalty gets cancelled out, the guy currently in the box.

To be fair, I didn't clue in immediately either.

The earliest penalty gets cancelled - that's the one already in the box, not the one about to be called.

Worth pointing out that Pachal effectively won us the game with this hit. Seattle took a penalty trying to get revenge, which Sharangovich scored on while drawing another penalty and the failed challenge penalty, which resulted in the 5-on-3 that Huberdeau scored the winner on.

Pachal's hit was a huge moment in the game.

I hate that.

That was a beautiful hit. Perfect in every way and the player pops right back up, no muss, no fuss and the game continues...until it doesnt.
