Darren Beattie, a former Donald Trump speechwriter who was fired in 2018 after CNN revealed he spoke at a conference attended by White nationalists, has been elevated to a top job at the State Department, multiple sources familiar with the move told CNN.
Beattie was appointed to serve as the acting Under Secretary for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs, a key role that is responsible for helping shape US messaging abroad related to counterterrorism and violent extremism, according to the State Department website.

I cannot believe there isn't an uprising in that country. At the same time, maybe I am just way off base in thinking that we have made any human progress in the last 100+ years. Depressing.

On the exit polls, 28% of the presidential vote was from non-whites.
Of this, a third of it was for Trump. A third of the non-white was for a man who is clearly racist.
As a visible minority I'm just so incrediby disappointed in Americans at this point I don't even know where to start.

Ah, yes. Deciding not to visit a foreign leader who's actively trying to cripple the economy of the country you were raised in and live in 6 months of the year is catering to the radical left.
