I still have to say, why cant everything work as well as Goal-Line tech?

That Welbeck shot in the Forest/Brighton match looked for all intents and purposes good, but the Ref just checks the watch, it didn't go off, the ball didnt cross the line. No Goal, no muss no fuss get on with the game.

No whining, no complaining, no mobbing the Ref, the watch didnt go off so its No Goal.

Simple. Quick. Efficient. Brilliant.

And the Ref can just shrug his shoulders.

"The watch says no so the answer is no."

No grey area, no decisions, no ambiguity. The Watch. Says. No!

Love it.

That “penalty” was garbage though. I’m pretty sure Gakpo clipped his on heels and goes down in a heap. Is that a foul anywhere on the pitch? Maybe. But most teams aren’t getting that call, I think it’s fair to say.

They usually do call a foul on those though when there is a clip. It sucks as a defender because the contact is so minimal, but it does cause the attacker to fall.

Bournemouth have put together a really good side, they played well today and easily could have scored a couple.

I will agree that that was a very, very soft call.

Yeah, it went my team's way, but I hate that crap.

undergoing medical. Villa to cover at least 75% of the wages (could go to 90%, depending on performances). Option to buy for £40m in the summer.

too bad it's only an option, not an obligation ... but still, fantastic deal for United. Getting rid of the media noise and the majority of his wages is a huge, huge plus.

Way to go Palace! They overtake United with the win.

Good for Rashford, he's signing for a team that is looking way, way down on United in the standings. I'd want to get the hell out of there too.

Well at least those City defensive miscues happened, otherwise that half reeked of some pretty foul feces.

City just have no legs, and despite spending a bunch in this window they haven’t addressed that issue at all.

The drop off this season has been unbelievable. This team was almost unbeatable for the past what, ten years?

When it goes it usually goes quick. A lot of guys went from solid starters to looking very old, very fast. And Rodri apparently was covering up a ton of cracks. Ensuring UCL next year is all the can hope for the salvage this season being a total disaster.

Well...also...Guardiola hasn't adapting to the changing realities of his team.

Thats what coaches do. They set their teams and players up to succeed with the talent and advantages that they have.

That was a very satisfying match.
Title is likely out of reach but destroying City will always be great. Absolutely bullied them by the end.

United fans are glad to see the dufus gone. One of the laziest most non professional fake player I have ever seen in my life. Good riddance and could care less if he scores for Villa. Just like Sancho you can only benefit from tossing losers out of the club!

The main problem being...that leaves you only with Hojland and Zirkzee who...appear to have only scored 1 goal between them in the last two months.

Meanwhile, Spurs...a team United are competing against at the moment, secured a loan for Tel.

City appear to have signed Nico Gonzalez.

Rashford wouldn't have solved this issue.

glad to see the back of him. Amorim dropped both him and Garnacho for the City game and challenged them to put the work in. One responded and is now featuring every week, the other one pouted and talked about being ready for a new challenge a day later. Good riddance.
