They need Bahl back in a big way

My opinion only, but I just do not see an NHL player there. All the attributes to be decent, but his play just doesn't translate.

But that Pachal hit was a beauty.

Frost made some really nice plays. Fits right in with PP1. Seems to draw defenders and open up some lanes for the others.
Patient with the puck too. Looks weird when he does it. Because no one else does.

Kudos to the team. You could tell they were gassed after the game. Back to back with travel and getting in at 3am while the other team is restedand waiting. Big mountain to climb and they did it. 2 points up on the Canucks.

Weegar with a tidy 27:37 minutes and 1 assist. Next closest player was Anderson at 22:19. Team Canada take notes.

Sharky 2 point night. Sharky - Frost - Pospisil showing some chemistry. Felt wanting more from Farabee but Kadri and Huberdeau will take a minute to figure out how to play with.

Go Flames Go!

Selfish to prefer that Weegar gets a holiday instead?

Utterly dominant night for Frost, Pospisil, and Sharangovich (who is maybe the least deserved Flames whipping boy this site has ever chosen)

Love Sharky, definitely not one of my whipping boys.

Yeah, the tools are there, but he just doesn't seem to get it. He had a lot of injuries and didn't play a lot over the last few yeas, so I was willing to cut hit a fair bit of slack, but he's been here a year now, and he isn't making any progress.

He's under contract for another year, but I think some guys are going to blow by him on the depth charts. And if Conroy picks up a Dman at the deadline, he's probably munching popcorn for the rest of the year.

Still don’t see it in Miromanov. At this point it just looks like he’s taking a development opportunity away from someone on the wranglers.

Weegar also played 24+ min last night. Again, most on the team. Great performance and effort

I had high hopes for Miro and he wasn't awful tonight but I'd rather see what Jeremie Poirier can do with his minutes.

Yeah. The flames have so many quality defencemen in the system I would rather start giving them looks before trading picks for depth defencemen at the deadline. Poirier and Soloviov have great potential to be solid bottom pairing defencemen.

I would add Yan Kuznetsov to that list. Think he could step in a do the job too.
