You can take the ink stick out and it is now a handy joint container that looks like a pen with no lid.

I mean...sure...but I have other pens should that eventuality occur not to mention, you've clearly never been to my office.

And it wasn't a crap pen either, it was a nice pen. Now its going to dry out and become useless.

If you wanted it and asked me for it I'd probably have let you have it, now I'm stuck with this insane nonsense.

One of my most petty pranks ever was with a former co worker who had a modest amount of OCD. He exclusively used only black pens and would remove all other pens off of his desk, lest he commit the horror of using blue or *gasp* red ink.

Well I replaced all of the black capped pens with red ink on his desk one morning. He had just printed off a work order (this was a while ago) and begins writing in it with red ink (but a black capped pen). He gets pissed off, throws the pen in the garbage and prints a new work order. He grabs the next “black pen” and brings writing up the work order. Well it’s pooched now too. He took every pen from his desk and chucked them across the office lol.

Every couple months I would throw in a new “black pen” into the bullpen of his desk.

With the tariffs and the push to buy Canadian can grocery stores do what liquor stores do in regards to wine. Chile over here, Argentina over there, Canada main display, etc. And, of course US products no where to be found.

The more that breaks in transport, the less you have to find a place to store for the rest of your life. Just things to consider when selecting a shipper.

My wife seems to be addicted to that kind of crap, never uses it, and it looks fugly next to all of our other place settings. And she would never actually buy it herself. Now we're doing a reno, and all this crap is in the way.

We had a discussion about not accepting stuff just because it's free, and our "no swag agreement" normally works pretty well, except it seems to break down whenever a family member is like, "oh, would you like two really ostentatious flowery tea cups with one saucer and a bookshelf worth of hard-cover Reader's Digests?".
