It may make us weaker in the immediate future but it will also weaken the States to the degree where it will hurt their population just about as much. The policies are dangerously similar to those of 1910-1920s America and we know how that turned out. Well maybe not you, but people who have read a history book know how that turned out.

I remember just over twenty years ago when Chretien wanted to legalize weed, and one phone call from George Bush's state department got him to totally drop the idea. How silly were we to actually run out west to east pipelines through American land, thus totally ceding our rights to operate them independently? That's not even silly, that's just stupid.

Well I got my steps in by wearing a Team USA jersey downtown. I havent had to run like that for a long time.

Between the people I stole the jersey from, the jogging club and then the angry mob it was hard to determine which group was most upset about the entire ordeal.

LOL - do you really think that? Are you familiar with the phrase “When America sneezes, the world catches a cold”? The US economy dwarfs Canadas in every measure. There literally is no action Canada could perform to hurt the US that either they can't compensate for or would hurt Canada even more then the US. Even the energy. US is the world leader in Energy production. What Canada doesn't send can simply be compensated for by increase capacity or export less. Problem solved. Then what does Canada do with the oil and gas they don't send to the US? Ship it to Europe or China? How? By ship? Good luck. I really hope Ford shuts down the electricity to Michigan in retaliation then the fireworks will really start.

You think Trump really wants to annex Canada? This would be the last election GOP ever won. Add Canada to the current deadlock and US votes Dem for pretty much eternity. Recognize bluster for what it is.
