Weird game. Calgary had the balance of play even though some of the players looked like they were just flat, backs especially.

But I’ll take that effort any day.

The octopus got more ice time than Clark Bishop.

Good effort for the most part (with some defensive lapses. But not a lot of room for moral victories down the stretch.

Let's put ourselves firmly in the drivers seat for a post-season berth and stop opening the door for other teams!

Feels like we were better at salvaging points in losses in the first half. Now it's W/L in regulation.

Too bad we couldn't fast forward some of the offensive d-men in the pipeline to today. Besides Weegar, and sometimes Rasmus, there's not much there at all.

Still the better team tonight. Wolf was very good (besides that 2nd goal), the new guys were ok. Still can't believe Sharky missed the net from 2 feet out and open left side. Ouch.

How do you get an octopus in? That legitimately makes no sense. Like stuffed in a pocket of your jacket?

Frost was the better of the 2 new additions, but he made some bad reads for turnovers that you’d hope an NHL vet would’ve worked out of his game. Me, personally, I’d reunite Pospisil with Kadri & Huberdeau to get Huberdeau back going and give this team its best chance for a win against Seattle. And start Wolf back to back. Get those points now.

I wonder how good Detroit could be if they didn't have an old style "gum up the works" coach. The free-wheeling Jackets are doing better, with a less talented bunch.

Also Talbot is so annoying.

Calgary born players and former goalies in general. If you want to do Calgary a solid, be better against other teams. Namely our rivals.

They aren't going to set off the metal detector. Whoever it was got two of them in.

They've lost two more games in overtime than Detroit. Incredible.

Weeger has looked below average all season. He wasn't on the ice at the end of the game with the EN, they put Barrie out there.

The media pre selected him as a 4 Nations candidate before the drop of the puck based on last year's performance and he never got to that level this year and kinda of hid in the shadows since that list came out.

Still a good player but going through a slump.

What a strange question for Wolf. A Flames fan asking if he ever considered asking for a trade since it took him a while to make the big club. Ummmm he's 23. How bizarre.

Tonight and game against WSH could have both been wins or points.

Every teams has these games. Even top teams.
