Well the Kings have won six straight since firing Mike Brown. He's always been a terrible coach, I don't know how he keeps getting more opportunities.

Players love him as an assistant he becomes a hot candidate again.
He went to the Warriors and won a ring and helped on the defensive end. Going to the warriors seems to rehabilitate coaches careers. Look at Kenny Atkinson with the Cavs.
It was actually interesting. Durant and Irving went to the Nets with Atkinson a good up and coming team. Talked about hongreat he is from afar taking shots at Steve Kerr and they had him fired. Those 2 really did a number on the Nets.

I don’t know about him specifically but a friend of mine worked in the Ritz in Toronto where nba players stayed and it was generally rampant.

For this year it also makes no sense for the Lakers, gonna be the worst defensive team in the league by some distance. But longer term it works.

Seems like a lose-lose trade...each team just bolstered what they already have at the expense of their X factor. But maybe there's another shoe(s) to drop.
And if Luka wants out, there probably isn't a better stay-competitive trade out there.
