And with Miller gone, all the attention from opposing teams, will be focused on Pettersson.

It’s still pretty high consensus of many that are surprised a team was willing to take him.
You can’t tell me that yesterday morning you’d have expected any team would take Kuzmenko off our hands unless it was heavily sweetened.
Hardly relevant and needed to push up against such a simple comment. Weird perspective and maybe we’re doing that thing again where you repeatedly twist responses to my quoted posts over and over to do what I just don’t know.

Interesting trade. The Rangers pick is set to be 11th overall. If they don’t get a bump from this (I think they will though) then they’ll be giving up their 2026 pick instead (unprotected).

They lose a key face off guy in Miller as well (58%), Peterson is bad (44%).

You were the one ‘pushing up against’ my comment. Kuzmenko is 29, on an expiring contract for about $5m. Conroy didn't even need to get rid of him; his main focus (as he has said repeatedly) was on acquiring a centre in the right age group. Miller is 32, makes $8m, has five more full years on his contract, and has been causing well-publicized issues in the locker room.
The only twisting going on here is you trying to make out that the two situations are comparable.

In other words, you have no argument to make, because you're obviously wrong. But you have to say something so you can be the winner in your own mind.

Is he really? This trade is basically Miller for a 1st round pick with teams swapping 3rd line centers.

At first blush, these two trades over the last 24 hours might be what separates Calgary and Vancouver for that final playoff spot.
Going to be quiet the back half to an already unexpectedly interesting season.

With the circus surrounding Vancouver due to the Miller and Pettersson feud, you pretty much had to expect a bad trade. Bad for them and their fans because they could have handled it much quicker and got a return for all their players.

It's against my religion not to mock people who think ‘lol’ is a valid argument.

That’s just a subtle low effort method in hope that it’s void of anything for you to critique and you move along but appears not the case.

Vancouver made the best of a bad situation, they weren't dealing from a position of strength. Miller for a 1st isn't a terrible return. If Chytil can stay healthy it will help them down the middle.

You jumped in to criticize what I said, and you did it by drawing a fatuous equivalency. I pointed out that it was fatuous. You then became butthurt and accused me of starting an argument that you started yourself.
Apparently one of your core beliefs is, ‘The fight started when Billy hit me back.’ Whereas I go more with, ‘Don't start none, won't be none.’
