that doesn't make any sense for Philly, and that's before you even think about Torts/Kuzmenko being a terrible fit on paper. I mean, I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see it.

It's a bigger deal I think, Philly's right against the cap. And Briere is a rebuild guy and not shy to move big pieces.

My hope is Kuzmenko (50% retention) + 2nd for Frost
Flyers can then flip Kuzmenko with another 50% if they need to or he can help Michkov out maybe

They couldn't very well pull Vladar as a healthy scratch, even if the EBUG is available.
Just have him sit quietly on the bench and hope he doesn't break a finger opening and closing the gate.
