I do like Big Wreck though. Maybe worth the ticket for them alone .

But if you like Big Wreck just see them at a small venue in Calgary where you can get right up close and have a great experience. They play every year or second year in Calgary, last one was at the Palace and it was a wicked show in a great venue.

Creed walked so Nickelback could run.

I'm not a fan of Wolfie's music but he is talented and seems like a nice guy so I wish him well.

He doesn't seem to know the difference between the Special Olympics and Paralympics either.

Creed are a laughable garbage band, they might actually be worst than Nickelback. The one good thing these donkey bands are good for, you know you can immediately dismiss anyone who goes to see them or listens to them.

I imagine they can sell out Grey Eagle but I'm kind of surprised that they are playing in the Dome. Maybe I don't have a finger on the pulse of their popularity but I can't see more than 6k people turning out for this. I suppose Calgary doesn't really have a great indoor venue for concerts that attract crowds in the area of 5k.

Also don't underestimate when secondary sites are selling tickets for $10 a few weeks before the show and people can get blasted and have fun.

Nah, you guys are trying to attribute to Calgary what is happening with Creed all over the world. They're a legacy act that didn't have their lead singer for 15 years or so when bands from their era are selling out arenas even with being together the whole time.

Saddledome show has sold about 11k of 14k (sellout) tickets (after 3 days of sales) and there is not a lot of resale tickets on there at all. They'll sell out easily by late summer when the show is. Grey Eagle is 2700 Estrada, Creed is five levels above that, it's nothing to do with not having a 6k option.

Also, if you want to see an epic failure in ticket release strategy, look no further than Sum41 and their retirement tour. They underestimated the demand to an extreme degree and apparently had no one monitoring ticket sales to release more.

They're whole Canadian tour could have been sold out arenas but instead they let Calgary and Edmonton "sell out" what was made available (Edmonton held back the entire second tier, Calgary held back the top 8 rows of the second tier (4500 seats) and Vancouver held back the whole second tier.

Tickets sold out very quickly and no one from Sum 41 or Ticketmaster noticed so they JUST started releasing these sections last week but likely too late for most Sum41 fans to know that more tickets are available. Vancouver they STIIIIL haven't noticed and have a sellout of the F-ing LOWER BOWL with no tickets in the second bowl available. How dumb can you get?

I'm going to Vancouver and Phoenix. Got row 1 lower bowl for Van but spent more than I'd like to admit. I'm sitting in the penalty box lol.

Got GA pit for phoenix. My last gasp at my youth lol. If it's anything like some of the other shows recently it shouldn't be too crazy. NIN fans are old nowadays.

Honestly I'm shocked at how quickly these shows sold out. When NIN toured between 2008-2013 only places like chicago, LA and NY were a hot ticket. Last show in Calgary was only about 8k. Fast forward 12 years and 20 tour dates sell out within minutes of onsale with dynamic pricing and tickets 5x as much as they were last tour. it's bananas.

But I guess we live in a world where sum 41 can sell out the dome with $250 lower bowl seats so maybe I shouldn't be surprised.

The nice part is the shows are a month apart, Vancouver Aug 10 and Phoenix Sept 16th, so I'll have lots of time to digest and get excited again. Plus Trent turns 60 in May, this could be his legit last tour. The guy has 6 kids. No idea how he even has time to tour.
