You mean the website that rthymes with Brassdoor.com? Do people still use that site with that's full of outdated information and company HRs going there to post fake reviews to boast themselves.
BTW, I like how you use the lingos from the Layoff at the Oilfields thread

The average really isn't going to be that far off from that number. It's not like it changes that much.
Doesn't mean the top end isn't high though:
https://globalnews.ca/news/10203391/...ties-salaries/
And any place that chooses to put "glass" in their name will always have it mocked.

Workplace incidents, had a co worker who is a good work buddy of mine get involved in a fairly serious incident on the weekend. Sounds like it could have been way more serious / fatal if the circumstances were different but luckily only a broken bone in a very bad spot.

I've witnessed someone get run over by a forklift and...there is only one outcome there and it. Is. Grim.
So you have my sympathy. Seeing someone get seriously hurt is never pleasant.
If its a serious injury that is tragic.

Yeah it’s serious for sure but it’s expected that eventually it will be a full recovery. I don’t wanna say much about the injury itself but there was a real chance of it being fatal. All in all it was quite lucky considering. It wasn’t as gruesome as getting trampled by a forklift but it had the potential to be on par with that.

My first night in Orlando for work at Disneyworld, we all went to the park that night and froze our asses off and got sick. It was warmer in Calgary than Orlando that day in January....
