In an ironic (and expensive) twist, I bought Diablo 4 on PS5 despite having just finished building a new gaming PC.
My wife and I have been playing couch coop after the kids go to bed and we are having quite a bit of fun. We aren't too hardcore, and it seriously beats mindlessly watching Netflix while she scrolls on her phone. Needed a bit of time to work out the differences between D3 and D4, but we're on our way now. Quests feel a bit clunky. I feel like I might like D3 better, but that might just be a familiarity thing and we hardly scratched the surface of D4.
I'm working on a WW Barb which has been my 2nd favorite build after Hammerdin back in in the D2 days.
Might try that Spiritborn class next. TBH, I kinda just prefer the classic chars: Amazon/Rogue, Barb, Warrior/Paladin, Sorcerer etc.

Acer is announcing two new Nitro Blaze gaming handhelds at CES 2025, and one of them, the Nitro Blaze 11, is truly giant with a massive 10.95-inch screen.
There's no way you can just casually chill like that while playing it. That thing is massive.
Anyone pony up for the early access Path of Exile 2? I'm hearing really good things.
Been busy but POE 2 is pretty great. If you haven't played POE 1 I think you kinda have to view the cost as something that you would pay for stash tabs anyhow and the early access as being free. Depending on your level of payment, you're getting the equivalent points that you'd get in POE 1 to spend on tabs or cosmetics anyhow.
And it was pretty seamless to see the tabs that I had spent for in POE 1 that showed up in POE 2 with no extra cost.
I have been getting the odd crash though, maybe par for the course with early access.

I haven’t but that looks like fun.

A group of 4 modders re-created GTA Vice City in GTA 4's engine in it's entirety. Take-Two shutdown their youtube channel, but they created a new one and released the entire game for free anyways (no base GTA 4 needed). There's a torrent posted on gtaforums, won't post a direct link for obvious reasons

Blows their own remaster out of the water...I boggles my mind how companies are so bad at this.

Yea I've played a bit of it and it's crazy how good it is, hard to believe 4 modders pulled it off. I watched a playthrough of the original Vice City on youtube just to see if they missed anything, but so far every mission I've done is 100% accurate. I wonder if they'll tackle San Andreas next
The whole trading aspect of POE is kinda old school with the website searching linked to whispers in game. But whoa boy can you jump up in power nice and fast. Getting to the end of the campaign (as it exists in early access) and then the endgame I guess.
