So we’re approaching a week in and it’s horrible. The election was largely fought and won on cost of living. Americans wanted costs to decrease, but Trump has done nothing to achieve that. In fact, he’s done a few things that will cause costs to increase—some, like medications, sharply. Americans, you voted for this bloody mess. FAFO.

Trump just fired 14 inspectors general - guess he doesn't want any oversight on what he does. Under the statute he's supposed to give 30 days notice to congress and a rationale. So someone may challenge it.

The Inspectors General have already replied in a letter and said, basically, 'yeah you cant do that and you should maybe talk with the White House Counsels office'

As someone who very much didn't vote for this, I plan to be absolutely insufferable about the price of eggs/gas/groceries/meds, etc. for the next 4 years, anytime I have to interact with a Trump voter.

If Biden was so worried about this, he very well could have put an end to Trump as his last official act as president. A President Vance may have been more palatable. It also would have been a lesson to SCOTUS about the pandoras box they opened, that undoubtedly is going to be abused by the sitting POTUS to get what he wants.
