Beyond being a good flame goalie, I think it’s the calm that gets him the comparisons with Kipper. Obviously different styles

They downgraded it to a minor. Absolutely baffling all around.
A history of their meddling in Flames games would probably look reviling.

Can't remember them stepping in to get something right.

Pachal with a banger.

I know he has points tonight but I'm kind of over Pospisil.

This makes the most sense given how many major call reviews are botched.

Yeah...i dont believe that Toronto changes penalty calls, only provides clarity on the rule and the refs replay things to see if what they called was appropriate, and only on majors or stick fouls.

Still not sure what they saw to change their minds.

Kadri line has been pretty ineffective tonight. Not bad per se - just not as good as they’ve been

The surprising thing for me is that the 2 refs tonight are veterans McCauley and Nicholson. Both these guys are well aware of what happens when a team feels like a dirty hit did not receive the punishment it deserved. They've seen this happen plenty of times and you'd figure would have the major and game misconduct stay to not have things get out of control.

Much like the rest of us, Millen likely doesn't listen to anything he says.
