That replay just confirms it should have been five. Just get rid of the situation room at this point, it’s useless.

I'm still waiting to hear if Locke is stealing kids' shoelaces at the Greyhound bus depot, Canadian Tire, or somewhere else.

This whole mess was caused by that call. If it had been 5+ game as it should have been the flames don’t go into rage mode. Everything from that point on is the refs and Toronto’s fault.

anyways Bean is next man up regardless, but yeah they would want another D around. If Bahl doesn't go to IR it would pretty much have to be Barrie

Tonight, Bahl left the game after a minor penalty for Boarding at the 4:40 mark of the second. He has not played a shift since.
I thought that Pospisil hit deserved the 5 and so did the Lauko hit

Sneaky shot by Huberdeau. Fleury was sharp there

What does Toronto/the war room even do other than overturn the odd good goal.

No interest in correcting the calls that matter.

Wolf is so steady. It's kinda crazy. So relaxed back there.

It was called a major initially, too.

They downgraded it to a minor. Absolutely baffling all around.

I agree although I had to see a few views of the Pospisil one to convince myself, the Lauko one was obvious (to me) during the game play and more obvious each time I saw it

He's so good at staying focused and just being chill. Pair that with the fastest legs in hockey it's a recipe for stardom.

I believe on penalty reviews, the decision is entirely up to the refs in the game. The war room is just running the replay for them.

I'm no officiating expert, but my understanding is that if they call it immediately a minor it cant be reviewed, but if they call it a Major they can review it and downgrade it.

So...they chose to downgrade it. After full review.

Kinda makes it worse actually.
