Pretty shocked the Avs would move Rantanen. Necas is a. huge downgrade, IMO.

That’s really the only thing that I think could be bigger than this. Don’t think any of the other top 10 players in the league are considered in any trades at this point - not that Crosby is really considered in any trades right now. That’s likely a pipe dream.

Necas, Drury, 2nd, 4th feels kind of meh IMO.
Carolina captilized on selling high on Necas having a hot start, he was worth nowhere near this value in the summer.

Plus cap space in there for Colorado, they can dump midstate and get anything they want to I think now.
