If you liked Lost (before the finale), I suggest From.
The premise is the same, people trapped in what seems like a supernatural place and there are lots of mysteries to figure out. But it has a horror twist with lots of gore.

Does it actually wrap up and have a satisfactory ending? (Unlike Lost)

I dont know if I even remember the ending of Lost...doesn't Jesus show up at some point and then walk them all home or something? Or did they go and live under the sea?
I dont remember. One Tax Season my wife decided to watch the whole thing and I just caught snippets when I got home. I remember liking season 1 and then being interested in season 2 and then...it became like some sort of strange experiment in modern TV writing...
Kind of in the way that, while I dont watch them, soap operas are fascinating in terms of the creativity of writing. When you're held to no standards and can do whatever the hell you want? It really unlocks creativity.
"Theres a Polar Bear now!"
Its a tropical desert island.
"Who cares? And he lives in a capsule under the sea and is sending coded messages to secret Government agencies who dont know they're being spied on by Aliens and Bill Gates who is also an Alien but a different Alien and God is really kind of cheesed about the whole situation because this is his ant farm and they promised to stay out of it."
That seems...rather far-fetched but I just bought a pool so this show needs to keep going as long as possible.

I have no idea about 'From' as I havent watched it but Lost...lost sucked.
Everyone that watched the Lost finale should be legally permitted one swift kick to JJ Abram's balls.

Oh, haha. Yeah, I’m with ya.
I’m still jaded by the Lost ending. It’s why I’m afraid to let myself love again. Especially creepy supernatural mysteries with one word titles.
I’ll wait for more feedback specific to From.

Not for long....

I wish my life was charmed enough that I could act like a dissatisfactory ending to a TV show was the most traumatizing thing I've experienced the last 15 years.

Or at least charmed enough to be able to have fun with some silly hyperbole.

I nearly went on a homicidal rampage after the Seinfeld Finale...that nearly crushed my soul!
And, while I wasnt born at the time, when MASH ended? That nearly did for me. Suicide is painless!

When Frasier ended, I went into a deep and endless hole of hurt and depression. I felt like nothing could ever make me feel good again. Could I love? Could I trust anyone? I found myself thinking of ending it multiple times. It would be so much easier. Easier to be without the pain at all than to continue living in this hell. I thought about the many ways I could go through with it. Which way would be the most painless? What would be the last thing I ate? Tossed salad and scrambled eggs?
Am I doing this right?

I remember watching Star Trek The Next Generation when all good things ended.
It was the time of my life but I thought that was it for me.

If you are like me and totally missed Monk when it was originally out, you can watch it on Netflix. I'm on season 2 now and highly recommend. I wasn't sure I would get into it after the first couple of episodes, but it gets better after that.

I thought it was a perfect ending to the show, and knew they were already making the first movie (Generations). DS9 was in season 1? Voyager was about to begin. It was a golden age for a Trekkie like me.
Oh sweet summer child...

Severance S2 E1 was good.
We binged Season 1 again right before we watched S2E1, it was a good idea.

Yes. Also...that post was almost entirely song lyrics.
