Poor McDavid is frustrated there was so much equipment in the way while attempting to sexually assault Garland. He even punched and crosschecked him in the head to get him to give it up and he wouldn't. Like what is wrong with Garland?

An oilers season ticket holder today told me that he expects fireworks in the next game.
I asked why? He looked at me as if I was crazy to ask this and asked if I saw what happened to McDavid? I said I did, but why would there be fights etc? Nobody did anything to McDavid, so why would there be fighting about it?
What possible reason could there be for a brawl when the Canucks literally did nothing?
How can this fan base be so myopic?
PS how do we determine which “superstars” are which, and who gets preferential treatment league wide?

They posted a stat earlier in the game tonight that McDavid's called penalties per 60 are going down, and that this is some kind of proof that McDavid is being treated unjustly.
What does every coach say before playing Edmonton? "Stay out of the box!"
Maybe - and hear me out here - maybe, teams are simply trying to do that.

Well we wont get a fastest skater comp, so it's hard to say. But in my opinion McDavids biggest asset has always been his ability to move with the puck with speed.
McDavid is still 2-3 years younger than most guys who really start to see a drop in foot speed, but it's possible that he has been harder on his body than others and the almost 20% reduction in point pace vs the past 2 seasons, and the reduction in drawn penalties could be leading indicators that he will come up slower this season than his pretty consistently been the past 3 seasons.
Wishful thinking from a Flames fan, but hopefully this is a trend.
