Could they be trying to sneak him down during the off days?
(not sure it's a sneak as he'll likely clear)

Oh ffs not Hunt again. The guy is one of those guys who can put up numbers in the AHL but just isn't cut for the NHL. There are better options.

What do you mean by "off days"? Are the other teams having off days, too?

The 4th line really needs a new look.
All the talk on x points to Hunt. He's a good AHL player, and deserves a callup.
That said, I hope to see Stromgren, or even Morton for a few games.

Hunt is tearing it up right now in the A.
Too bad Kirkland is out.

I'm not demanding Hunt but he is leading the AHL in scoring and its a 4th line role...I think people being upset if its him is silly. It would 100% be a call up on merit.

Pelletier - Kerins - Hunt as the 4th line would be interesting since that line had great chemistry in the AHL that led to their success this season.
Problem being where do you play Lomberg in that scenario.

Poor Hunt. Puts up the best production you could expect from an ahl hopeful and nobody is interested in giving him another shot.
But entirely possible he's just a Kolanos and can't translate it no matter how well he performs on the Wranglers.

Once Huska gets his hands on Hunt he doesn't view him as a 4th liner, he has him up the lineup. The swiss knife.

I am a big supporter of Stromgren and want to give him a shot in the NHL this season, but... At this time, Hunt makes more sense. Better production, more experience and the Flames are still pushing for a playoff spot. (Almost said, "in the the hunt" but I am better than that).
Hopefully Stromgren will get his chance.

This seems excessive for a team that has already promoted it's top three young players.

I thought Hunt was great last season and was going to stick on the 4th line this year.
Just like Kirkland, I think he will be an excellent 4th liner. Why not for us??
Stromgren needs a top 9 position. He can wait. 4th line should be Klapka or Hunt.

Is Parker Bell ready?
Hunt probably makes the most sense as he shouldn't need adjustment time

I assume that other GM's don't sleep all day when Calgary is not playing games.
Guys like Duehr are sent down frequently during the year and are seldom claimed. And if they are, it's not a big deal.
