I think Musk realizes this and plays nice with Trump well he is useful to him aka what is supposed to be a 4 year term...
In the meantime, Musk works to find Trump's successor who is easier to handle & control.

Tesla stock has already priced in future performance, and in my mind has overpriced those in, so I don't see a lot of up side, unless you really think Trump is going to stick with Musk over any period of time. The second Trump turns, that stock is tanking. So it's got more downside potential than up, since it made it's huge gain with Musk and Trump winning. But Musk doesn't have a guaranteed 4 years of power, Trump pretty much does. That's a huge risk.

He got Canada to promise additional security spending to its borders without any promises on tariffs in return. It's clearly a complete win for him no matter if he goes through with tariffs or not.

Mossed in the side show today is Biden pardons of basically his whole family. Dems must be furious as this will surly be copied by Trump.
What to think when the fear 4 years ago has been realized because of Biden. Treating the pardon process to protect family.
As dumb as some make Trump out to be, the guy sure (sadly) gets what he wants. Trump can now point to crooked Joe and say told you so. Guy seems to know how to make career politicians squirm that is for sure.
