No way they suspend him. 5k fine and a stern talking to. Myers will get a few games though and Oilers fans will continue to talk about how the refs/league are against them

Why is Knoblauch saying Garland is the best player in the league?

"Frustration is allowed to happen." Only if it favours McEntitled and Pissy, eh Knobby? Good on you canucks. Canucks fans must hate the Oilers as much as we flames fans do by now.

NHL didn't want to discipline him after the IR-causing elbow, he was playing Mackinnon the next night. Hmm...

He’s basically untouchable and he knows it. That’s why he continues to play chicken kyit hockey.

I'm sorry its a blatant head shot following a gutless sucker punch to the head. Give the big crybaby 3 games at home banking his head off of his basket ball court.

Sportsnet headline after the game 'Hughes scores twice as slumping canucks hold off oilers'.
Slumping? Yeah, that's what you say when a team lost a game. Garbage network doesn't even hide it anymore.
Garland deserves a medal for getting in McDigin's face. Now if only he had crosschecked Leon in the face when Pissy was trying to be tough....

Didn't see the game, so just watching highlights now. On the second canucks goal, Pissy stopped at the canucks blueline when he didn't get the pass, was just coasting back like it was shinny and didn't bother to cover a defensemen. The other four oilers were actually trying. He's the guy in shinny who cherry picks at center ice. What an MVP. Must be a fun teammate.

Myers and McDavid should both get at least 3 games, probably closer to 5.
Both should get the same suspension either way. But you just know McDavid is just getting a fine or one game.

He'll just get a fine. The league has a marquee match-up on Tuesday with Ovi vs. McDavid. No way they're gonna risk having their golden boy miss that one. Even if he somehow gets a suspension, they'll arrange it so that it doesn't start until after the game vs. the Caps.

He does the same thing every game. He grabs players, interferes with them, holds their stick, and dives. Sometimes it fools the refs and draws a penalty, probably most times. It didn't work this time and he got frustrated. People are getting sick of it and I think some of the refs are too.
He's a great player. but he is also a spoiled brat who thinks he can get away with anything, and when he doesn't, he acts out.

Some good news on the OOT.
The Schwartz was strong for the Kraken as he scored a hat trick in the Kraken's 4-2 win over the Kings. Kaapo Kakko was just as strong as he assisted on all of Schwartz's goals. The Kings only had 14 shots on net through 2 periods and then fired 17 shots at Daccord in the 3rd period. Needless to say, all 3 of the players mentioned were the 3 stars.
The Blues lost to Utah by the same 4-2 score. Keller with 4 points and Cooley with 3 points were the offensive stars for Utah. Binnington with 29 saves in the loss.
Heck, the Bhawks did a solid by defeating the Knights 5-3. Seth Jones gets 3 points and scored the GWG with a minute left in the 2nd period. Mrazek was good in net as he stopped 32 shots. The The started well as they dominated the 1st period in shots, 13-5. The tide turned and the Bhawks played hang on after that, the Knights out shot them 30-10 over the last 2 periods. The Knights are slumping a bit, they've lost 3 straight.
The Flames are in 8th place in the western conf. They are now 3 points ahead of the Blues and just 1 point up on the Canucks. The losses by the Oilers and Knights has the Flames just 10 points back of both teams for 2nd place in the conference.

I thought it was pretty obvious that Garland had McDavid's arm under his body and wasn't allowing him to get up. After that, McDavid punched Garland in the head, and then Garland went for full interference why not? With seconds left in the game and the Oilers having possession of the puck, would you not want to neutralize their biggest offensive threat? Still can't crosscheck someone in the head, but the narrative here that McDavid was holding down Garland seems incredibly illogical.

Whether he did or not is no longer relevant due to McHobo's reputation as the Boy who cried Wolf.
His reputation as a dirty player, a diver, a whiner, and a poor sport are becoming very evident.

Yep. He uses every sneaky trick in the book to try and draw penalties because the PP is where he makes his mark the most. I have no doubt that McDavid was trying to get a 6-on-4 there for the last 25 seconds or so by acting like he couldn't get up. It was Garland being interfered with there and once they got up and Garland realized that the whistles were put away, he gave it back to McDavid.
