Knew that was happening after Kadri couldn’t score on a pretty much empty net.

Poor Wolf.

What a terrible decision by Huberdeau (as a higher supporter of him). Conner took ths goalie out and huberdeau looked right at the open net and passed it to Kadri, who then overthought the shot with conner still stuck.

Jets immediately score the other way.

Backs hasn't had a good stretch of games recently. Hopefully this isn't the beginning of his decline.

Poor Wolf.
It was even more open for Huberdeau before he passed it to Kadri.

Yegor is also 47.9% but only on 186 faceoffs.
Pelletier has visited the circle only 4 times and won 25%.
Coleman is an astounding 57.4%, but he's only hit the dots 54 times.

We only have one other player who has taken more 500 faceoffs, and that's Kadri with 780. He's won 45.3% of them.

There are 65 players who have taken at least 500 draws so far this season, and when sorted by winning %, Backlund is ranked 53rd. Kadri is 59th. The cutoff for players with at least a 50.0% is 41st.

So, yes... your statement that "they can all take draws" is true, but when you factor in the statistical evidence, you might as well say my grandmother can take draws too.

Is Rooney EVER strong on the puck? By that I mean is there ever any velocity or power on any pucks he moves?

I thought it was the better play because Huberdeau’s had the goalie in the way and Kadri had just Connor. It was a great saucer pass.

Draws plus defensive players. I wouldn’t want Kadri out there then. Coleman has winger stats on the FO. I could see putting him there instead of one of the other two though. But not that line with Coronato.
