I dont mind anime per se, but I've tried this thing 3 times and just cant gut it out past the first 10 minutes.
I cant say its bad because I havent watched it, but I find it uninteresting. Unless someone can 'A Clockwork Orange' me or give me a compelling reason to continue I'm just going to leave it.

I wouldn't knock it till you try it. I was hesitant at first because of anime, especially after all the garbage that came out of the Star Wars franchise. But Kenji has a unique style that brings a neat (and different) lens for viewing Middle earth.
This one was good. Honestly way better than The Hobbit films.

I dont know what it is, but...You're absolutely right, that'd be awesome, but theres something I enjoy about Andy Serkis' voice just in general. I'm pretty sure its the Kiwi accent.

I would love to. I've listened to the Rob Inglis version several times. I'd love to see a top artist take a stab.
I listened to Christopher Lee audiobook of The Children of Hurin and holy #### the man's voice is mesmerizing and he's such a good performer.

I’ll start with Fellowship and see how it goes. The Hobbit was cheap on Audible so I grabbed it but I don’t know if I’ll listen to The Silmarillion until I get through the rest.
Is it weird that I knew Serkis was talented but I didn’t fully appreciate how good he was until Andor? He killed it in that without stupid CGI.

The BBC Radio Production of the complete trilogy is awesome. I love audiobooks but there's something about a full production with multiple actors, sound effects, etc. that makes it special.
Like when they used to play the old-timey radio shows on QR77 after midnight. "Only The Shadow knows..."

Just saw a commercial for it and was going to reconsider…. until they went to a fight scene with that messed up flashing / stop motion style. I just can’t do it. Might as well be Speed Racer or Astroboy. Could never watch that as a kid either.
