Piggers gonna go all the way this year!
And yes, that comic was definitely accurate in my experiences at the Eau Claire YMCA over the years I was taking my kids to swim lessons there.

Not estimates. They ####ed up my billing from November onwards apparently.

You must choose between one of the two following options:
1. poked in the eye with an erect penis; or
2. slapped across the cheek with a flaccid penis.
Option one seems like it carries a higher risk of injury but option two somehow feels more degrading...

I don't have an issue with that out there, but here, it's gets a little weird at times. It's not a nudity issue, it's how people lounge around in the change area here and posture themselves.
IIRC, people go in and out of change areas for saunas and onsen in Asia and Europe, they don't hang out and do weird postures in the change areas. They certainly might chat and hang out in the bathing area, but they don't spend time in the changing area in the same way some people do here in North America.

uhhh... Is Sophie on a prom date?
for the record I always choose degradation over the risk of ocular injury and/or pink eye. Man if I had a nickel...

Just for the triple post score:
In laws have a place in a retirement villa or whatever. Nice pool. Horrific change room unless you are a piggers fan.

1. At disneyland and started chatting with one of the people doing crowd control after the parade. Just chit chatting. Then she said we could go to the exit of a ride and give them a ticket and we were allowed to get on and skip the line. Nice.
2. Also, at disneyland, also chit chatting, way at the back, as the water show started the 'guard' escorted us to an exclusive area with awesome sightlines. Just for being friendly.
3. At an airshow. Looking at the Globemaster sitting on the tarmac. Start chatting with some guy in uniform. He says do we want to see inside. Of course we say yes. He takes us to the ladder. A soldier dude goes to stop us and the first guy says, they are with me, and we got a personal tour of the cockpit from the pilot (no double entendre you perverts). It was awesome.
Be kind and genuinely interested in people and good stuff happens!!

Is it because old guys don't care anymore or is it because they never cared?
Old pools have communal showers where as the new ones usually have shower stalls. Those guys grew up naked around other guys and probably didn't care when they were younger too.
It's also mildly interesting to me that at the same facility the women's showers are often stalled when the men's are still communal.

Those are awesome! I think the moral of it is, a little bit of kindness can go a very long way.
I know we bicker a lot on CP, but a beer and some kindness made my trip amazing. That beer and some kindness made that a once-in-a-lifetime trip for my wife and I that we'll never forget.
We got to go all over the island, all through the prison, it was really cool!
Honestly? They should hire that woman to re-vamp their tour.
"Do you want to sit on Al Capone's bed?"
Yes. Yes I do. And then she got them to close the cell door.
She got them to lock me into Solitary Confinement for 10 minutes...that is awful. That was an experience. I cant even imagine a prolonged period of time in there. The memory of it still makes me uncomfortable and it was only 10 minutes.
The thing is, Solitary is part of the tour, and thats fine and all. But they never close the door, you just look at the tiny room. She got them to lock me in. That was...."I'll behave."
Thats the thing about Alcatraz that she really stressed.
"This was an era that wasn't about rehabilitation. This was punishment."
And she was not wrong.

Showering is just a total personal/solitary thing to me because it's the only way I've ever done it.
One time I was in Poland and had a shower at a hostel that was just a big room with other dudes. It actually wasn't weird, so I guess I have done it, but thinking about it now...I'd honestly just go home to shower still. Just too strange to elephant walk around a change room starting at this age, I guess.

First time at a Japanese Onsen is also an interesting experience. From the pre-wash station to strolling over to the bath with a wee towel, to strolling back, etc. And usually being the only non Japanese person. Once normalized it’s no big deal but until then…

Come to beef about my property taxes going up nearly 20%. Extremely unlikely the house could sell for anywhere close to that. And even last years value was a bit over 10% higher than the year before. Which I did not agree with. No home or property changes in about 10 years.
Is this how our city council is looking to increase revenues? By artificially escalating estimated home values?
