No. Are you suggesting locking the criminals up forever? That'd be perfect. Unfortunately that part of the social contract is broken and will never happen. But yes, treason is a good enough reason to be thrown in prison.

You either have the dullest or weirdest circle if a logo that Smith puts on her premier announcements is worthy of any type of discussion.
She's been using it for way more than a couple months as her own personal brand if it makes for good circle talk. She even has a version with a cowboy hat. Have fun!

I’m asking because your standard for labeling someone ‘horrible’ appears to be quite low. Furthermore, based solely on biased media about people you’ve never met, you seem to believe they simply shouldn’t exist.
But this quote from you is interesting
Quote:
continues to attack resources my family needs
|
Not all families are created equal, so i bet there are people out there who think the samething just towards the people you support.
This is why a single aribtar of truth (Authoritarianism) is frowned upon.
You would think you would support a guy like Trump, since you seem to have a lot of things in common lol
Jordan Peterson has helped a lot of people, a lot of people in a positive manner, who cares about his poltiics

So she is representing herself, personally on that poster? Or is she representing Alberta? That's the confusion, and it's a reasonble question to ask. Who she actually thinks she works for.

Yes, the NDP, notorious for cutting services. Give me an example of who might be harmed and how. One that doesn't involve a slight cut in wealth potential for the wealthy.

Edit:
You talking provincial or federal - this is the federal thread.
Who says services are being cut? Like there are billions that could be cut from the liberal party budget that wouldn't effect your services
Everytime this goverment of canada sends billions overseas in the name of wars or financial imperalism, they are taking away resources from your family.
So if that is your standard, you should be pissed at alot of people.

There has been too many other people in this world that feel it would be better off with people they did not like dead. They too believed their beliefs were far greater then any one elses. History considers them extremists, no matter their political spectrum.

Privatized healthcare has worked great for decades:
USA, only fully private healthcare country (among OECD), last in rankings for healthcare among OECD countries, also spends the most per capita.
it's brilliant

Just looks like her own personal brand.
She's had different iterations of branding before her current one as premier using the same colour scheme. Spoiler as the first is a really non-flattering photo.
The tweet is from 2023 with the same logo she is using now. Again, she's used it for longer than a year. If you really want to dive into origins of her logo.
It's just a media brand kit that she likes for herself. I just don't think it's that interesting or why you suddenly have noticed it.

Sorry but isn't this backwards and what is being discussed is a USA tariffs on imported CDN Oil and the tariff would be added to the end user? Export Tariffs aren't very common where import tariffs are.
I think there's conflicting use in the import/export tariff terminology. People are focusing on the export of Oil and Gas where it would be the import of the refined product and other USA products that would see an increase.

I'm talking provincial, because we are talking about Smith. Here "protect the vulnerable" for covid turned out to be bull####, because they can go at least 36 hours without a doctor for the province to prescribe the medication needed, that should be started within 5 days. But hey, if you are amoung the most persecuted people in the galaxy for refusing a society protecting vaccine, she'll go to bat for you every time.
She also just cut funding services for the disabled, which is nothing more than cruel, considering the tiny amount, and that she gave $2 million of our tax dollars to Preston Manning for a BS covid report no one cared about. But hey, #### the disabled.
Two tiny examples in a see of cruelty and stupidity, you can easily search for more if you care. I know you don't. So ya, she is actively causing harm to people in need, and we would be better off without her control and influence.

No, export tariffs are specifically what has been talked about.
Import tariffs by the US and export tariffs by Canada both have the same overall effect (increased cost to the US), the difference is who pays the tariff at the point of import/export. For imports by the US, US entities are responsible. The exporter has the option to alleviate the tariff by reducing the price or the importer simply pays it. For exports to the US, the exporter has the option to alleviate the tariff by increasing the price or the exporter simply pays it.
In both cases, the usual procedure is that the increase cost lands with the importer.

So, it's looking like more and more outlets are reporting that Carney will indeed run? This is awesome lol. Still unsure if he should do this now or wait, but I guess it sounds like it's been his goal for a while and really with how long PMs stay in power in Canada, time is of the essence for him.

The federal government has hinted that it might retaliate to US import tariffs by either placing an export tariff on Canadian energy exports to the US or even prohibiting energy exports to the US entirely (as a means of inflicting economic pain on the US).

Imagine leveraging against your own country when your country is under so much threat from a hostile foreign superpower - its economic well-being and ultimately its very existence. Deeply irresponsible leadership, and quite disgraceful.
