Yeah I don't know how many people have been clamoring for a Falcon with a shield movie. I like Anthony Mackie but he is playing a character that was introduced to audiences as a minor player.
Captain America will totally depend on the strength of its writing. It's a pure political conspiracy type film. I don't have a lot of faith in Disney's ability to pull it off, but I also don't think it'll be the actor or the effects that make or break the film.

Yeah, I dont know what happened there. Apparently a lot of people didn't like it, but I thought it was pretty good.
It didn't blow your socks off or anything but I thought it was entertaining and funny.
That being said, and I have nothing to base this on, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the CGI was probably a little too expensive to justify for a Disney+ TV show.
But thats a pure guess.

But weren't they a couple or something? Seems rather different than the vibe of this trailer, can't imagine there will be much continuity between the two.

I think he was in 1 episode with maybe another short cameo scene.
They hooked up. Matt went to the West Coast for some VERY strange and got out fast. Definitely a totally different vibe show, but maybe it was just a little vacay for him from all the darkness and violence.
Frankly, good. It was like trying to squeeze a Count Duckula cameo into Nosferatu - completely mismatched vibes, considering the distinct styles and tones each show established.

It just didn't work at all.
I want this now. Almost more than anything.

I don't know what it is but most comic book movies these days all look bland and uninspiring. And special effects all look very mediocre. This looks much the same.
