I redirect the ass moisturization conversation to describe what I saw this morning from a complete unmoisturized ass crack.
This crack decides to do a u-turn on the stop line at a red light on one of the narrowest streets in town, between parked cars as traffic is turning into the opposing lane. Full Austin Powers situation.
I'm ready for blanket coverage of oversight cameras everywhere with AI observation issuing fines for public offenses.

I don't know. If you played sports growing up, it was just routine. It's more weird to me that people would hang around after all that sweat and grossness instead of having a shower.
That said, I go home after the gym every morning and shower, but if I was playing a team sport and hanging out after, I'd definitely shower there.

Apparently a question to ask your locker neighbour at the gym. “Hey Bro, this look dry to you?”

Yeah, I didn't do team sports growing up. I honestly can't fathom hanging out in a room full of dudes chit chatting while showering with our dongs out. Not scared or any type of phobic about it, but it would be the same to me as taking a dump in a room full of toilets facing each other. Just unappealing and unnecessary. Showering is just a total personal/solitary thing to me because it's the only way I've ever done it.
One time I was in Poland and had a shower at a hostel that was just a big room with other dudes. It actually wasn't weird, so I guess I have done it, but thinking about it now...I'd honestly just go home to shower still. Just too strange to elephant walk around a change room starting at this age, I guess.

I'm with you on this one. When I started playing hockey as an adult I never showered at the arena. I went home to shower in my own house. Communal showers feel unnatural to me.

I've played team sports most of my life, including adult life. Sports like soccer, volleyball etc, I don't feel the need to shower. And a lot of times facilities don't exist.
But I absolutely have to shower after hockey. You sweat in places you didn't even know you could sweat from. There's no way I could put on street clothes, get back in my vehicle and drive home in that state. Plus, the shower helps cool me down somewhat.
So I've seen more dong than probably all my ancestors combined. But yeah, it's just dong. We all have one. Although I have seen some pretty impressive ones over the years I have to admit.

I hear you, but I don't think people who rather shower at home are wearing their suit to the game. You'd kind of pre-plan by wearing sweats and a shirt that you wouldn't mind just washing as part of your routine prior to the next game.

Some of you must not sweat very much. After hockey I absolutely need to shower. Not so much at the gym.
Also, many players go to the pub after the game with no time to go home first.

Team sports wise, I just played soccer, so no showering issue for me. But for hockey... have you seen/smelled the normal equipment? I'm not totally sure that laundering extra clothing is part of the lexicon of those playing hockey.
The player just plays and then their stuff is often magically in the state they need for the next game.
I totally agree though. If I do an activity that requires a shower, I often will arrange my day in a manner where I rinse at best plus launder extra clothes and do a shower at home (ie: workout, swimming etc.). If my wife drags me to a spa day and there's a need to, then I'll do the shower to get rid of the oils to avoid my clothes soaking that stuff up. But I do my thing efficiently and get out.
I don't get the concept of people slowly meandering around the locker room and socializing like I see in overseas public baths. Even then, out there, I don't typically notice people socializing or grooming in the change area. I've always wondered if people doing that in a locker room do that at home. It seems like a super weird and inefficient preening routine to have.

Maybe if we all chubbed them up ahead of time it would be more appealing? Just spit balling.

Could be a bit of a team building thing. Every man helps the guy next to him. Maybe everyone in a circle. Might be something to the idea is all.
