Sorry, didn’t mean to insult your master. There might be a few of his posts left you haven’t thanked yet if you want to make up for my transgression.

Think you’ll hit 60+ today? Only a couple left.

I still got a long way to go to dethrone the champ. I even had a 8 year head start on you.

One more for 60.

The night is young and you don’t ever seem busy. Why not make it 80?

You know. For the fans.

Didn’t reply to your post in the first place, so I’m guessing you’ll get there just fine without me.

Do it for the fans, Mel.

What if it’s only the highlight of your day/hour?

Asking for a friend.

Looks like Alberta might set up a public entity to buy all of the oil from the producers on paper before it is exported.

The Feds can't taxa province, so it would the their hands.

That would be a simple thing they could just come with on a whim. Oil doesn’t just go into a big bucket called oil and you get a price times the amount.

Smith's behaviour can be explained in two ways: she is destructively doing things to further her own personal agenda and grift. Nobody seems to want to say what the grift is. OR...her behaviour is consistent with the best interests of Alberta vis-a-vis the relationship with the US and that hurts peoples' brains. So they go with the "grift" argument to sort out the cognitive dissonance.

So you are saying independent oil companies would be forced to sell to a single buyer, the government? What is this, communism? Where's the freedom?

Third choice, she's a ####ing imbecile and doesn't have a clue what she is doing, how to negotiate, or what the actual best interests of Albertans are, because she doesn't listen to them or experts if they disagree with her.

Ya, going with that one. The evidence comes in a nice tube, kinda like, I dunno, Ivermectin I guess? Or is it hydroxychloroquine? Or natural cancer cures before stage 4. Or pardon powers for premiers. Or a tax cut. Or a 90 day promise to fix healthcare(tic..tic..). She's incompetent and only believes whatever rattles around her head, or what people like Rob Anders whisper in her ear.

If her opinions are so consistent with the best outcome for Alberta, why is it even Kenney and Harper think she is wrong? Do you disagree with them? Imagine siding with DS over, well, pretty much everyone with a functioning brain(yes, there I said Kenney has a functioning brain).

Her behavior is easily explained: she's incompetent.

Don't need to get much deeper than that.

(Turns out I need to hit refresh more often)

I suppose the conspiracy version would be that Trump wants to recreate the Russia/Ukraine playbook with Canada, and his meeting with Smith was to convince her to make Alberta the Donbass equivalent...

Your really going to have to explain this one when Transfer payments has the result of a rest of Canada recession end up ####ing Alberta over.

Unless of course separatism is your goal which means you should quit posting as if your opinion is “Alberta’s Interst” rather than “my interests”

The current version of Confederation is broken. To wit: your point on the transfer paymemts. Replacing Confederation is in the best interests of all Canadians.

And as a follow up what are the solutions from these guys? They just stomp their feet, act mad and indignant but don’t offer a solution.

Stripping provinces of most of their powers would be a solution in the best interests of Canadians.
