Why are you trying to go after Jacinda Ardern in a Canadian politics discussion thread? Again, this really isn't the flex you think it is.

The AOC avatar as well. Mel gives off major loser incel vibes. Even when he throws out the most redacted right wing talking point he rarely gets it right. His brain is so scrambled he can never focus on one singular topic for more than two replies.

At the time of her resignation her polling and approval ratings were the lowest it had ever been and they were still higher than any of her rival PM candidates.

It became hard for him to continue defending Donald Trump, an unrehabilitated sex offender and closest friend of Jeffrey Epstein.

Mel, why did you decide to go after Jacinda Ardern in this thread?
Unless you provide a logical answer, you've shown you're just here only for drive-by trolling which negates anything you try to attempt to bring in any discussion.

Because i saw your location, and it reminded me of the heralded Covid Queen and was curious how a local would spin her down fall.
And it kinda reminds me of the progression of Trudeau (relevance to this thread) except she was smart enough not to hang on despite a year prior stating she was game for another term.

No allegations, the people should know who a possible future PM choses to spend time with.
Spoiler: it's not a chance meeting either, Mrs Carney sister is her bestie (apparently)
Also we don't want double standards around these parts, do we?

...which has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

So you want to compare her to Trudeau, which you only passively admit after being called out on it? And then you finally admit (after I'm assuming doing three seconds of basic research, which is hard work for you) that she stepped down, after falsely claiming her people gave her 'the boot'?
Sorry dude, far from logical enough. You're here to troll, and you've just admitted as such. Take a walk outside, your head needs some fresh air.

If you're upset, that's thanks to reality, not me.
I post to counter misinformation (which of there is plenty), to educate and to foster discussion. If you don't like it well, that's for you to figure out, not for me to accommodate!

Hey Matlock, they went to the same high school. Do you have some photos of them posing happily for the camera and smiling? You know imagine the Trump and Epstein and Maxwell pose, the holy trinity of rapists, child sex offenders, and underage sex traffickers.

You suggested Ardern was voted out (in a thread that has nothing to do with her, I might add), without any basic research which if you did, would have told you what actually happened; you literally post misinformation.

And there’s no conflict between having been the governor years ago and being the PM today. Those are all entirely ridiculous assertions you ve made there. The best part is, he was appointed by Harper, and everyone thought he did a fine job navigating the Great Financial Crisis. Maybe he drags the Liberals a little to the right, and that’s why the CPC is so worried.
You know why that wasn’t clear though, right? Because he’s a professional. I know it seems bizarre in today’s world, but there are people who can do their job and their entire identity is “F Trudeau” or some other hyper-political view.

The governor of the bank must still be appointed one way or the other. I'm not sure I would agree on general on many of PPs ideas with regards to the bank. I do however think he believes that the governor should be non partisan.
As for there being no conflict for Carney, that is quite correct. However if Carney sets a precedent that it's okay for bank governors to consider this a career path, there is certainly conflict for upcoming governors.
Carney is a professional, as you say. But he's also a much more extreme ideologue than you would think from his outward demeanor.
