Not sure we can confidently say he’s not #2. And teams rarely start the same goalie on back to backs in mid January no less, especially when the #1 is a rookie

You could have made an argument for playing Vladar yesterday and Wolf today, since the Blues are the more impactful game.

It's a back-to-back. Even Kipper in his prime didn't often play both halves of a back-to-back.
