No that is why I called it interesting.

I was waiting for them to dip into some UFO or Drone theories at the end.

The author has another recent article on the Flames, and says the below:

The team possesses massive amounts of talent. However, the chemistry is not clicking as it should, and that carries more risks down the stretch.

Basically, Calgary has a ton of talent, however they are underachieving, presumably through lack of chemistry or effort.

That's really looking at this team upside down.

The author does mention he's an Edmonton fan. Nuff said.

Wow. Must have been quite a bruhaha a couple games back if every player was injured.

Hanley isn't good. I think Huska is set on doing the lefty righty pairs, no other reason to have him in the lineup.

I'd really love to see Ilya Solovyov get a look on the left side of Weegar.

I would guess that he gets a couple of shifts in the middle during the game at some point if he is treading water. A lot of teams start Cs on the wing at first at the NHL level, even sometimes a full season passes.

Maybe after the break?

Wonder if the coaches and management scout the Wranglers during the break to identify some callups for the last half of the season.

I don't see Kuzmenko playing much or being traded at this point, he is just hear for us to hit the cap floor lol.

While I agree that Hanley isn't a good NHLer, he is at least someone who has for some reason found some strong chemistry with Weegar. Huska should, and will keep them together until they inevitably start to struggle, but right now they are winning their matchups with ease.

Let him get a taste of the NHL at the easiest position. Ease him into it.

Management watches every game and every home practice of the Wranglers. How can fans not understand this? Do you think the coaching staff of the Flames have no idea what's going on with the Wranglers and who is down there?

Don't agree with that at all.

I think he's proven to be the perfect stay at home partner for Weegar, and has pretty much won the top four job away from Miromanov.

The two together have xGA60 of 1.52 / 60 and actual goals against of 1.28 / 60.

xGF% as a pair at 66.5% (next closest is 53%)

League wide if you look at pairings that have 100 or minutes together they are 3rd.

Air tight pair.

Give the man credit. He's not sexy, but he keeps it simple and lets Weegar fly.

Hanley, similar to Pachal, has won me over. I still get frustrated with him from time to time, but that happens with every player really.

Was bracing for Vladar. Thank goodness.

Have to beat the Chicagos if you want a shot at playoffs. Beating bottom dwellers has been a real problem for this team over the last two seasons. The Hawks play them well, too. Need a good, full group effort here.
