Scoring Winger

CHL trades have been insane like this for decades. Teams in the window for a run at the Mem Cup trade 12 year olds for 19 year olds. It rules and will always rule.

I think Suniev is going to to be the most correct answer in this thread.

He's been working hard on improving his skating and by all accounts he looks much better this year, every other part of his game screams a big top 6 nhl scoring winger.

Suniev’s coach said something along the lines that he’s one of the most focused and dedicated kids he’s seen on making the NHL.

When you watch that breakdown his vision on the ice is top notch. His passing is nasty and his shot is nhl caliber now. I really like the player makes the sting of missing out on all the centers in that draft a little more bearable.
Have to mention and give some love to Jamieson as well may another nhl defender hopeful.

He is currently outscoring Perrault and Leonard playing on an inferior team in the same conference.

He has 17 goals in his last 19 games, after starting with 7 in 18.
Since Nov 17th: 17G, 13A, 30P, 19 games 1.57PPG (7G, 12A, 19P, in 18 games prior)
He is 8th in the Q now, and climbing.

He started out playing a bit on left wing but he loves the right side, I hope when he gets a chance with the Flames the play him as RW even though he shoots left.

Of course he does. He's a Russian winger with a left-shot.

Gridin, Misa, Mews and Battaglia all looking good is great news.
Basha was ok despite health issues, and you'd imagine will be in that crop when that's resolved.

The most exciting part is Basha probably was the one that looked the best at camp.

The exciting part is that the team has more picks than our allotted 7 we go in with, and they use them all to draft players and not trade them for a Brandon Bollig.

And had this ankle issue his entire draft year and this, that has now been surgically repaired by experts in the US. Played hobbled and almost a first rounder.
