Dude, your take is so weird.
You have an issue with someone being interested to watch one of their team’s prospects at the NHL level?

Personally, I’m interested to see if you are actually as dumb as your post implies or if you can outline some sort of logic behind your statements (I’m betting on the former).

So it was the third period of the Flames loss against the Penguins that Huska put Huberdeau-Kadri-Pospisil and Coleman-Backlund-Coronato lines together.

In the 16 games since then:

8-5-3; .594 (T-9th in the NHL)
5v5 xGF%: 53.95% (8th)

Huberdeau: 10 goals, 17 points
Kadri: 7 goals, 14 points
Coronato: 4 goals, 12 points
Coleman: 4 goals, 11 points

Huberdeau-Kadri-Pospisil: 61.0% xGF - 10 GF - 6 GA
Coleman-Backlund-Coronato: 53.2% xGF - 9 GF - 3 GA

So they found a couple of lines that had some offensive chemistry and it's worked so far for those two lines.

The third line (especially with Zary hurt) and the 4th line need a lot of help but the Kadri and Backlund lines are going.

The other thing is that it's been about 10 games now that they put Hanley on the left side with Weegar, and Weegar just looks way better and way more comfortable playing his natural RH side IMO.

Over that same 16 game stretch:

Bahl - Andersson: 50.3% xGF
Hanley - Weegar: 66.4% xGF (And on for 10 GF and 3 GA)
Bean - Pachal: 54.0% xGF

So some consistency with the d-pairs has helped too. The only real negative has been the abysmal PK with 12 PK goals against in those 16 games.

Edit: Kevin Rooney needs his own callout actually because he deserves a run in the press box.

5v5: 34.5% xGF; 3 GF - 9 GA
PK: 7 Goals Against

He's not helping the PK and he's a liability right now at 5v5.

What a great after hours. Of course I love Iggy and Kipper but Reggie is one of my fave Flames of all time. Chucky with some love for his inclusion too. Great segment.

Girl please.

What’s my take? I’m not excited to watch a late round pick who worked their way up? They’re going to play 8-14 minutes and get used to the pace of the game? That’s exciting?

Seriously, good for Kerins. I’m all about young players if you’ve seen my posts. I don’t know how that could be possibly more exciting than watching Zary, except that we haven’t seen it before.

Great. Congrats. Hooray. Now suppress goals like the team did in this game to impress.

Seeing young players who may eventually play for the Flames fulltime make their debut is something to look forward to. Especially with the direction the team is currently taking.

It doesn't matter if he plays 8 minutes or 25 minutes.

I'm really excited to see the NHL debut of the man whose name has an exclamation mark!

Wolf has won 14 of 22 starts.

7th in NHL SV%
15th in GAA
9th in shutouts

That's great for a star vet let alone a rookie.

But I'm sure Michkov and Celebrini have been more critical factors in their teams' success..

Well, have at it. Especially if it takes Andrei Floatmenko out of the lineup.

The team has nothing that can compare to Los Angeles or any other big team in terms of talent. They won because of Wolf making saves in the first part of the game and getting defensive structure together in the latter part of the game.

I don't know what comparing the Flames to the Kings has to do with Rory Kerins making his NHL debut but ok.
