Not sure which year was more disappointing, Anaheim 06 or Chicago 08. Anaheim i think we just need one more scorer, maybe samsonov and then we go on a run and Edmonton doesn't
2006 we are a post away from round 2. Plus a Vézina Kipper and a head coach.

2008 we didn’t stand a chance. Chicago was already showing signs of a top young team that would skate us out of the gym in the regular season. We also had a guy collecting a paycheque to chew ice chips and let the players figure it out.

He was a shootout specialist. Useful for what he was. 47.1% in his time here.

IMO, that 2008 series result was awesome for that Sarich hit on Marleau in Game 3 alone. Changed the entire trajectory of that game. Sent Marleau's marbles all the way to Alpha Centauri; absolutely legendary hit.

First of all...the Hale Storm was what he was. Was he awesome? No. No he was not. But he wasn't expected to be a star that turned out to be hot garbage either.

Thats like vilifying Brennan Evans. Yeah...he was no Chris Pronger, but anyone that thought he would be were out their goddamned minds.
