I'd still do a 1st and a prospect for Wright. He's going to be here for 5+ years.

Battaglia and a first this year, and parker bell?

We have an abundance of wingers i have been saying for a while to convert some of that wing depth to center. Trade Anderson and recoup the picks. Profit.

Pelletier and NJ 1st.

Done! NJ will be like 30th overall this year, and by then all the centres will be gone.

If Ron Francis shops this offer, we retract the offer.

Jersey is currently 4th in the East and 10th overall in win percentage. Markstrom would have to go on an as unseen run of good play in the playoffs to get to 30th. That pick is tracking close to 21-23.

I still would do that deal for sure.

Depends on the prospect. Someone not named Parekh, Mews, or, Honzek and I am on board.

I'd do Honzek in a deal for Wright easily

Why would Seattle want this package for Wright?

Honest question. Are they looking to get rid of him because I’m not sure how this would address any of their needs. Bearing in mind, this draft is not considered to be very deep so a pick in the 25-32 range might not be seen as all that enticing.

Don't know why, don't know situation in Krak land, but since it sounds like they are shopping him, make your best offer. If they don't take it move on. I think NJ 1st is the best thing we can offer and a prospect not on dissentowner's list.

I mean who thought Kakko would go for a 3rd and a 6th and Will Borgen.

Gotta think he’s even being floated because they have Beniers and Catton down the middle in the future, plus Stephenson for 50 more years

True. Their opinion could be his perceived value will only keep diminishing as time goes on. Trading him now could still return a 1st + good prospect. Another year or 2 and that becomes a 2nd + a B-level prospect.

Kind of surprised that Wright and Beniers are about equally as productive on the Kraken this season.

If they don’t think Wright is part of the long term solution then it is best to move him sooner than later

Sam Bennett got a 2nd and a 4th round prospect.

Ain’t no way we are trading a 1st for Wright.

2nd and Kerins.

He's too busy messing with the off topic threads under a different name. I'll try to fill in, until he gets back.

I dunno, even if they’ve soured on Wright for one reason or another, it seems to me he would be the best value asset in that trade, hence the Flames offering two for one. It’s not like Seattle is starved for an undersized bottom 6 winger and a late first in a not so great draft.

Unless there’s some beef between Wright and the Kraken, I would just hang on to him if I were Francis.

Then you won’t get him.

Sam Bennett was 24 when traded in the last year of his contract.

Wright turned 21 a few days ago. He’s producing.

Teams would be lining up to trade for him.
