I'd definitely need to see another source for that number, because TFI has confirmed they don't know how marginal tax rates work, are liars, or both.

They take things like GST, property tax, carbon tax, etc into consideration.

That's fine, and it is a good number to know, I just don't trust TFI to do it.

Yeah they use the average Canadian because if you go with just people below $60k annual household income it dips significantly. They also never take into consideration how much of the taxes paid gets refunded.

Right, they want it to look the worst possible so they can push their agenda and have people spread the SHOCKING TRUTH. The truth is, no one has to pay that much, there are easy ways to reduce it pretty much every one does. I wonder if they even include the carbon tax rebates.

I try to look on the bright side so I think it’s nice whenever I’m given the opportunity to point out how misleading a lot of their stuff is. Same reason I don’t mind posters like Yoho.

Alberta Advantage takes another hit, as province delists, cuts payments, and adds inconvenience to optometry coverage.

Maybe those seniors should take care of their eyes better, then they wouldn't need care.

Have you seen how many kids, some as young as 2, are wearing glasses? My grandson has been wearing glasses since he was 12 years of age. It is not a problem of not taking care of his eyes. He is near sighted.

I definitely was. We don't need health care as health issues are our own fault!

lol "failed".

Answer me this, how many low income people does it take with goverment handouts in hand to match the economic output of say, someone like Elon Musk? Remember Musk not only is generating wealth for himself that has allowed to him start and invest in many many busness that have paid billions in taxes, that have provided hundred of thousands of jobs over time, which generated billions in payroll tax and the success of these busines has generated wealth for RRSP, TFSA, Pension Funds ect.

How many goverment funded consumers would it take to match his contribution to the economy, millions of people?

How many?
