And it’s a goddamn cleanse to boot. Women choking down collagen and kale and smoothies for thousands. Arby’s <$10.

I think you're a little younger than me, but going to Pizza Hut for the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for $5 was an awesome deal back then. Teenage boys can eat soooo much. No way they made money off of us on that.

This is my take on the big fast food burger chains in general now. McDonald's was always my hangover go-to...but not anymore, prices practically doubled the past couple years. May as well just hit an indy local place at that price-point.

I don't remember the lunch buffet, but I do fondly remember Pizza Hut as a kid. That vintage decor and those delicious pizza's that came in those individual cast iron pans...no idea if they were actually any good, but it's a great memory.
My experience above was basically late 90s. Was also a fan of MCDonalds pizza around this time.

Those pizza pans were so good, just a sizzling greasy dough of desire.

An Arby's just opened in Strathmore, or as the locals call it, fine dining.

At the time to me they were amazingly good and hot when they came out. Of course back then nobody knew beans about what made for a great Pizza. All we cared about was bubbling cheese and pepperoni, and for the freaks anchovies.
There was always something back then about getting food that made hot noises when it came to your table and the warning that the plate was hot.

I don't remember the last time I saw an Arby's. But everytime I ate there I thought of the naked gun line.
"How do you like your meat"
"Hot and wet"
I swear Arby's boiled their beef.

Yeah, it's weird but I like an occasional beef n cheddar. It's garbage but so is McDonald's and most fast food.

I am not really a fast food guy anymore at all, when I would eat any other fast food I felt fine. When I ate McDonalds I just didn't feel well at all.

Did anyone ever see an anchovy on a pizza? I remember people constantly saying they hated anchovies on their pizza. I don't remember legitimately seeing anchovies on a pizza but I remember an inexplicably high amount of people who thought black olives were anchovies.

I thought we were similar in age but correct me if I'm wrong. I beleive it was $5 for adults or teens? Like 14+?
I seem to recall youth was $1.99. I pretended I was youth for the longest time and only paid $1.99 for the buffet
(I may be misremembering though)

I might expect an anchovy pizza in Italy to possibly be good versus our North American fare. I guess not?
