Pelletier didn't think twice about dropping the gloves on a guy 6 inches taller than him.
Hope Zary is okay.

Zary was going to beat him, maybe not cleanly but he would've gotten by. The knee was stuck out, not alot but enough. Good, get him off the ice too.

wow that’s crazy THAT’S a major and a misconduct?
Refs let so much more intentional stuff go.
Don’t have a problem with it being 5, because intentional or not it’s still bad…just genuinely surprised it was called 5.

Are people so soft they can’t handle linesman? Who’s really the one making the stink?
I’m convinced most of these changes in terminology are just narcissistic people trying to bait people so they get to call them sexist, and get a nice little dopamine rush to feed their superiority complex instead of anyone actually thinking this is a serious problem that needs addressing.
That’s the end game right?

Zary made a move as Helleson braced to make a hit. Never stuck his knee out. The contact was incidental, and there wasn't intent to knee.
Really unfortunate outcome and it looked awful, but I don't think it warranted 5 and a game.

I'd guess major ligament injury. The leg bent in a direction it's not supposed to bend.
