All fans think their team gets a ton of posts, lets players get first goals, gets goalied a lot, plays down to opponents, is inconsistent, doesn't play 60 minutes, gets jobbed by refs, etc etc.

Except the Flames do get jobbed by the NHL. Refs and video reviews, and discipline stuff. It’s actually a thing. You can say it isn’t all you want but unfortunately we all have eyes and ears.

Every team gets jobbed by the NHL. They are equal-opportunity incompetent. A few rich Original Six clubs have enough financial clout to make the league tread lightly with supplemental discipline, maybe. But the referees don't answer to the league and pay no penalty for being wrong; so why should they try to get calls right?
