Haha was being facetious. Didn’t mean to trigger.

But I am legitimately concerned about the damage Trump could cause with no effective leadership to counter.

You know he could simply unprorogue Parliament almost instantly if it came to that.

Based on what? The last oil pipeline rupture was 15 years ago and yes they had plenty to atone for from that incident and did so. Now a leading integrity program and incredible reliability. Structured a great deal for indigineous ownership on their Alberta systems and looking to do similar on the mainline.

They got screwed by the government in gateway, which then resulted in TMX and the government dropping 40 billion to do it for multiple times the cost and in a less efficient way.

Can we keep our passports or have to get new ones? The good news is we get rid of Danielle Smith.

That may have been a tequila fueled post from the beach in Mexico...

We should really get a trade agreement going with these guys down here.

But I stand by my feelings about traitors. Is O'Leary hanging in front of any gates yet? Ambassador bridge? Coutts?

You’ll have to excuse. Some of these grown men wear wrestling t-shirts in public.

Like those sleeveless leotard type things? That type that Hulk Hogan always tears apart? What does that have to do with anything?

If someone wants to tear their shirt apart, they are a sovereign citizen entitled to do so. I dont get why, but thats none of my business.

Probably like John Cena shirts, or whatever wrestlers exist. And no, none of them are physically able to tear their own t-shirt apart.

That retoric isn’t Canadian. Well not for a while. We have a rich history of tolerating separatists, and a PM who used to bragg about a post national Canada.

Interesting to see how those chickens are coming home to roost.

The point is that we're clearly not charging enough for wrestling t-shirt memorabilia.

Tax those and we can balance the budget!

Maybe we could extend that to political bumper stickers?

I've long said that we dont charge enough for those.

If I were Trudeau I'd be the first one making 'F Trudeau' bumper stickers and selling them myself. Missed opportunity.

1. Potential promise of...well, unwanted sex. To be polite.

2. Profit?

Those bumper stickers should cost at least a couple hundred each.

Then...you start a bumper sticker removal company! Thats where you get the real payoff! You get 'em coming and going! Thats the ticket!

Per the Canadian constitution, pipelines crossing provincial boundaries are exclusively the jurisdiction of the federal government. It’s Canada’s overregulated constant hoops that allows everybody and their dog to challenge projects. Is that what made these projects not viable, maybe, but probably not. But none of us have any clue how much elongated cycle times due to regulatory overburden and potential constant legal challenges played a role in making the numbers not work. Just wanted to point out that (as per usual), you’re incorrect when you say that this had nothing to do with the feds.

If this was the US, the Army Corp of Engineers would walk in and tell everyone to #### off because this was their jurisdiction and they’ll do whatever they want. There’s no way you can possibly say Canada has an efficient regulatory process.
