Who took Kuzmenko?
What did Conroy pay them to take him?

I would definitely hope we put a claim in though I doubt he’d reach our spot.

"Offensive forward" who doesn't score and can't keep up with the play. Perfect pickup for the Oilers.

Never been a fan.
What happened this year? Has he been injured? Only 5 AHL games this year…

Looking at his stats, he was injured in the preseason (broken clavicle) and has been on IR since. He played a 5-game conditioning stint in the AHL before Christmas and was activated after Christmas but hasn't played a game.
Unless there's a GM who has coveted him for years and is willing to give him a long leash in recovery, I can't see him getting claimed.

Speed was always the big issue with this kid and he's also butter soft for his size, having said that he's only 23 and with his skill and shot I would grab him for the Wranglers and maybe Danielle could work out his speed problems.

Ethnic Russian born in Uzbekistan, but American nationality (moved to New York when he was only 2 years old). He played for team USA at the World Juniors.

Yeah, why not? This is the year to try and revive distressed assets. Put him in a winning culture like the Wranglers and see if he can find his game.
He's as much as a '?' as a few of our NHL roster wingers IMO.

The Flames have a lot of promising forwards coming up through the system.. some very close to The Show. Does the organization have room for a "project" player?

Some speculation that the Senators might claim him. Staios was the GM of the Hamilton Bulldogs when they won the OHL championship and Kaliyev was on that team.

I see what you’re saying, but if Danielle can fix Kaliyev’s speed, she deserves a statue outside the new stadium, and a bigger salary than Huska, lol.

Maybe to backfill the graduates? I really want to see the Wranglers snag a Calder. I'm worried 1-2 will graduate this year and leave the farm a bit weak.

That makes the most sense.
