Catching up but I feel bad for Kuzmenko on that second penalty.

It happens because he's actually trying to play hard to make a play to make sure he doesn't turn that puck over when his stick breaks and just didn't think for that split second.

Easy to jump all over him for that but honestly kind of harsh by the ref considering he never actually tried to play it with the stick. I've seen a guys stick break and him try to kick the puck before dropping the stick fully and it's not called.

I don't understand why the broken stick is a penalty.

I mean, if you don't touch the puck or anyone with your broken stick what's the problem?

Another nice shift for Huberdeau. Just not getting rewarded last game or this one despite playing well, and it seems like if he or Kadri do t score the Flames lose.

Idk I don’t agree with benching Kuzmenko because he forgot to drop his stick. He was having a good game and it just feels like Huska just doesn’t like him

Kuzy is someone if he scored 1 will go on a tear.. Similar to last year.. Feel Huska hasn’t put him in a situation to get out of his funk. Especially seeing all the opportunity Sharky is getting.

It do think others have had 2 penalties in a period and not been benched. Huska clearly has Kuzmenko on a short leash. I though Kuzmenko was giving good effort this game.
