It’s funny to think of how up in the air that center role was early this season. Sharky and Pospisil couldn’t sustain their games with the added responsibility. Not only has Zary not missed a beat, he’s continued to bloom before our eyes. I don’t know what his ceiling is but it’s high.

Meh I recall Rene Bourque skating from the top of the circle and around the net after he broke his stick. Kuzmenko instead was focused on the next 2 seconds on hustling to be getting to the puck to kick it to Backlund, and not dropping his stick.

Glad Hrudey called out Kuzmenko. I’d rather have a zero skill player out there who plays hard and has at least close to a zero net contribution than a “skilled” player who is stupid and provides a negative contribution.
