Hard to feel sorry for the kids here, yeah they weren’t the best of their class and it showed, but they screwed themselves with penalties all tournament. Top to bottom this was a terrible team sent to the WJCs.

WTF was Cameron thinking on calling a review on the goal. It was obviously goalie interference. Why give up a powerplay.. Canada did defended the penalty but what a bone head call by the bench

The reffing was poor, but the tournament wasn't lost on the performance of the officials in the last 2.5 hours.

Hockey Canada needs to pick the most skilled team and rely on skill to adapt. At the very least, they need to give players, who are age-eligible and close to or above 2 points per game, try-outs. Hockey Canada knew who they wanted and weren’t interested in looking at alternatives.

We can all admit, they made a bad move, but all of this smartest guy in the room stuff makes no sense. No one picked this team because they thought they were the smartest guy in the room. They picked it because they were people with years of experience in Canadian hockey who were hired to pick a team to win gold.

Dave Cameron did a terrible job. But he and the rest of hockey Canada didn’t pick this team as a flex.

Even if we picked all the consensus best players we still might’ve lost. Would we still say they were trying to prove they were the smartest guys in the room?

Defence wins championships but so does skill and we left skill at home. That has nothing to do with anyone thinking they’re the smartest guy in the room. It’s basic coaching philosophy.

Seriously Andrew Gibson….has 7 points on the season. Who the #### is this guy?

Sawyer Minio is an 89th overall pick and an absolute no-name and yet had considerably more points than Gibson this season in fewer games. And yet was a reserve.

Also didn't Gibson take one of the late PKs that led to a Latvia goal?

I mean not that any of this matters, this team with Parekh instead of Gibson wasn't winning anything either. They needed all their guys.
